Hi guys 🙂
Happy Easter! I hope you all had a fab long weekend and stuffed your face with chocolate, I know I did…
I’m excited to write this post as I don’t write about fashion as much as I would like. Usually, I spend all of my money on makeup; constantly hauling and testing out both new and older products. However, I felt the urge to spend some money on some new clothes for once, both for my holiday and just to treat myself.
I went to a few different shops, and picked up some different items. I hope you enjoy 🙂
This is probably my favourite thing out of all of the things I have bought! I am absolutely obsessed with Orange right now; I think it is the perfect colour for the warmer months and looking at it just makes me feel happy…weird. I’ve been after an orange dress in this sort of style for a while now, and I was over the moon when I found it in Miss Selfridge last week!
I really must apologise about how crinkly this top is; I have not worn it yet and because of the way it was put in the bag it’s just all creased up, will be putting an iron to it before I wear it, fo shizzle. The colours on this top go really nicely together and I love the split back, very summery!
I have a longer version of this very top, and I love it. I saw the short version and thought it would be perfect paired with some shorts for my holiday.
This dress was in the sale and was literally £10 – what a bargain! I would have never usually considered trying on this dress, as I thought the colours would wash me out. Because of the price, I tried it on and I loved it. Very happy to now have this in my wardrobe.
This beautiful playsuit was placed in the ‘petite’ section. The bright orange colour (it looks red here) compliments any skin tone. I love orange at the moment, it’s definitely my favourite colour! The back/top of the outfit has a really interesting structure, and it was this that gravitated me towards it in the first place!
I literally gasped when I saw this beautiful dress on the sales rack (and not only because it was £7 (!!!!!!) instead of it’s original £60). It is the most gorg metallic gold colour with silver and rose gold strands of fabric incorporated. It is floor length, with a beautiful split up the middle. If I ever go to evening/dressy events, this will be my go to outfit!
This is just a plain cropped vest top, but I love the material Topshop uses for these. It’s really comfortable to wear and comes in a variety of different colours. I also bought the same top, in orange.
You can never have too many pairs of shoes, right? These beautiful suede platforms I actually already own in nude, but love so much I wanted to splurge on a pair of black as well. They are extremely comfortable to walk in, and look fab when clubbing.
I needed a new purse and as River Island do the nicest bags and purses, I decided to have a peek in there. I love this purse, I think it’s really funky and incorporates my new favourite colour!
How beaut is this bag!!!! It’s so summery and pretty, I just couldn’t resist! The only negative is that it does not have a back pocket – something I rely on for my phone and keys.
I really wanted to buy some new falsies so I could throw my old ones away, so I decided on these two. I love them both, pretty dramatic but that is my favourite type. I only wear falsies for special occasions or going out, so I’m looking forward to giving them a try.
I have so many good things to say about this nail shop. They apply gel perfectly and have such a huge range of colours available. The staff are really friendly, and the price…wait for it…£12 for a full set!! It is originally £15, which is still amazing, but they offer student discount on top of that. I wont get my nails done anywhere else now. I love this combination of colours – I wanted to get something different, and I can’t stop staring at them!
